Will a wireless network range extender work on inrenet that is built into my apartment complex?
We have free internet access in my apartment building, but a better signal as. When I bought a range extender that would help me or if it has to be used in a network, I steer?

if you connect to the internet thru the serviceyour apartment complex uses sure it will if you connect through another isp it may not as your complex may have restricrtions to outside wireless connections
You can use a range extender on your own wireless network. It might work if the apartment building internet access is unsecure but you might need to know some specifics about their network such as the ip addresses they use and what the ip address of their router is. I would try asking the person in charge of configuring the internet access if they could help you out. They might be willing because it could help some other tenants to achieve better signal.
