why do I loose the tick in the configure my wireless network setting when I turn the computer off or no reason

Why do I loose the tick in the box for use windows to configure my wireless networks for no reason or when I turn the computer off I have a BT home hub and a hawkins wireless booster.
In windows xp you have wireless network connection properties on the wireless network tab there is a box that I tick that says Use windows to configure my wireles network that is where my tick disapears from .

    If you installed the BT software to configure the router, this tries to take over everything. Uninstall it, it does nothing additional to the system.
