What’s wrong with my wireless internet?

I have a custom built PC and the wireless internet has worked fine up until just a few weeks ago. I know it’s not the router because my laptop internet and all the other computers in the house work fine. I tried to cancel out the possibility that it is the wireless adapter by using my sister’s wireless adapter on my computer. That didnt solve the problem, so I’m guessing that it actually is my computer. My friend seems to think that my wireless adapter, which is 2. 4ghz, is the same frequency as my phone and that the frequencies might be interfering with each other. The problem is though, that i’ve had the phone and the adapter in the same room for a half a yr now, and a problem has only arisen a few weeks ago. And as i mentioned earlier, I tried to use my sister’s wireless adapter (basically the same as mine which is a Linksys Wireless-G USB Network Adapter with Speed Booster). It still didnt work after i downloaded the driver and etc. Any ideas why it’s not working? Please help.
i’m actually using my laptop right now. My PC internet wont even let me connect to the internet. It’ll show a computer screen with a little yellow ball rolling back and forth. Then if i scroll of it, it’ll say ” acquiring network address”, but then it wont ever get the network address and eventually, it’ll go say ” limited or no connectivity”.
