What can I buy to increase my laptop WiFi signal?
I’ve heard there are range extenders out there, but I do not have an aux card or plug something into. Everything is built so that I can that I can get to plug to a stronger signal? I do not want to purchase another WiFi adapter, but if I can somehow something into the Ethernet adapter on that would be great. I changed all my settings so that all power management is it gives the max, so there is nothing more to do. Any suggestions?

In order to increase your wireless range of your laptop you will need to add an external antenna to your wireless card. There are two basic categories of antennas, omnidirectional a directional (Cantenna style) antennas. With directional antennas you basically have to point them at the source, great for picking up a wireless signal from across the street.

Some wireless cards have a connector to connect to an external antenna, most do not. Some cards can be modified to add an antenna connector.
