Make a laptop a wireless range extender?
How do I get my laptop into a wireless range extender, so that my wireless router to the top without having to use the purchase of an extender? I also learned how it is possible to carry on my laptop to another wireless router itself. is that true?

You will not beable to make a laptop a range extender. A Range extender needs to beable to make a connection to multiple clients and a Access Point. Wifi adapters for computers only have the ability to make one connection at a time.
And you can make any computer into a router. Its called a Server…
U must need a compatible signal booster. else use a wire for upstair… connect the wire in routers lan and connect ur laptop to wire for access internet on upstairs…………
