Ive heard Of repeaters,wireless range extenders What are they?what do they do,which one would u recomend?
what i mean by recomend is that im getting a wireless signal in one side of my house from a neighbor. so, i dont have access to any of their modem or cables at all but i do get the wireless signal called(motorola)probably a modem or router. but my question is what do i use that WILL work with the “motorola” to make that signal reach the other end of my house obviously with out in any way manualy connecting it with cables to the motorola “medem” it self or anything? People have told me to get a repeater but i dont know what it is?Please recomend a product if you can?

a repeater is basicly just a wireless router that listens to a wifi signal form a Router and it amplifies the signal and reemits it so as to extend the range of a WiFi signal,
kinda like a Radio substation would,
I recommend either a Dlink or a Linksys.
