How can I set up a wireless network with a new computer?

I recently got a new PC for my own room. It does not have a wireless PCI card or adapter. On the other side of the house, we have a wireless router, that I purchased for use with my Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS. For the DS and Wii, it works fine–but not as far as my room. My question is two-fold–will I need a signal booster for any signal to reach my room and what hardware will I need for my new PC for it to recieve the signal?

if you are sure the signal does not carry to your room, then either a signal booster or even better a wireless repeater. In your PC you need to get a wireless adapter. The best option is a USB wireless adapter. This will plug into a usb port and you won’t have to open up your PC.

Why not just adjust your router in between your Nintendo & new PC so that it can give a good signal to your new PC but if that does not solve your problem I suggest you to buy a new router that is capable of boosting the signal like what in the link below. You need Wireless PCI Adapter like the example in the lin.
