I disagree with BigDaddy69_77 consideration of this, I had no problems getting this card to work with Windows XP, Vista, and Ubuntu 9.04 win7 , 910 and 10.04, even some Slax based live discs. Ive been using this exact wifi adapter for about four months now.
The IVE only thing seen is that sometimes when my laptop is unplugged from the USB port can not provide enough mA goes off .. figures since it is an AP 2watt. but this is perhaps a problem with my laptop exactly, T61p.
